Here’s a little background on me first.

I am the baby of four girls, growing up in an all-girl house, surrounded by everything from makeup, to clothes, to fashion magazines. I have always held such a strong passion for the fashion industry for as long as I can remember.

Growing up watching the Met Gala on TV and watching the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show every single year, I would put the date in my diary and count down the days until (in my opinion), the best events of the year commenced!

I have always strived to keep up with the latest fashion trends, which is probably the reason for my shopping addiction… this and that I have no impulse control.

Feeling so strongly around fashion and styling, only made me want to dive deeper into the industry and to one day, eventually fulfil my dream of pursuing a career in it.

Growing up, myself and my sister would always get so excited and giddy driving past the Verona Bridal shop, swapping guesses on which “showstopper” would be in the window today. Little did I ever think that fast forward eight years, and I would be in my absolute dream job!

Starting at Verona Bridal, I’ll be honest, I was petrified!! Being trusted around so many incredible and out of this world gowns, and moving into such a niche industry with so many amazing and powerful women. I thought to myself, “I can do this”, “there is a reason I was chosen to be here”.

Every day at Verona is different. I absolutely love to learn new things, so getting to learn the ins and outs of each dress, designer and the business itself was a challenge I took on with excitement, knowing I had the power and knowledge to complete it.

Being a VB stylist isn’t just getting to be around stunning dresses every day (I mean, it’s definitely a perk), it’s being determined, and having the confidence to take on every new challenge as it presents itself, and the willingness to learn each and every day.

From the very start of the styling journey where I meet my beautiful brides, to assisting them in choosing the dress of their dreams and hearing that magic word; “YES”, to finally getting sent their professional pictures of their wedding day, is truthfully a feeling like no other.

As a VB stylist, your main job is to take care, and support your bride. Your confidence, knowledge and bubbly personality will shine through, and reflect on to your bride.

Two years later in Verona Bridal, and I honestly could not see myself being anywhere else.

Being a VB stylist, is truly a dream job.
