How it all Began…

Hey lovely brides-to-be, Maria here, back with your daily dose of bridal bliss! It’s been a little while since I last wrote (we’ve been wonderfully busy in store, wedding season anyone?) but I’m so excited to share the story of how our beloved Verona Bridal came to life.

How It All Began

Verona Bridal first opened its doors in 2010, right in the heart of Magherafelt, Mid-Ulster, and it’s all thanks to the vision of our incredible founder, Marie-Therese.

After earning her degree in Business Management and European Business in Scotland, Marie-Therese spent five years in Australia, gaining experience in both fashion and finance. But when she returned home to Ireland during the 2009 recession, things looked a little different, job opportunities were scarce, but her entrepreneurial spirit was stronger than ever.

Seeing a gap in the market for a bridal boutique that truly stood out, she decided to take a leap of faith. To create a space where every bride could feel utterly unique, celebrated, and inspired. And just like that, Verona Bridal was born.

Redefining the Bridal Experience

From day one, Marie-Therese set out to move away from the “norm.” She wanted Verona Bridal to be a destination, a place where brides could fall in love not only with their gown but with the entire experience.

Fast forward to today, and Verona Bridal has become known far and wide for its exclusive selection of couture gowns from world renowned designers, and a luxurious, unforgettable bridal experience. Brides now travel from across Ireland, the UK, and even internationally to find the one with us and we create lifelong memories for every single bride that walks through our doors. Dressing celebrities and influencers across Ireland and the UK we have become renowned in the bridal world, even being featured in Vogue (more on that to come)…
